Located on the bustling Russell Street the store is spread across 750 square feet, the store offers shoppers the opportunity to explore and experience the products first hand. The brand focuses on 3 core values of quality, beauty and utility that customers can experience first hand in store. The store will have over 1200 products across their top 7 categories- Dining, Kitchen, Decor, Bags & Accessories, Bath, Soft Furnishings and Stationery.

Designed by Ashni Kumar, the store reflects a modern vintage interior, featuring Georgian octagonal floor and wall paneling with modern interpretations of traditional wainscoting. A minimalist floor plan with accent display units allows products to shine, highlighting modern and sculptural showcases and consoles that add a touch of elegance. The store’s fluted glass windows bring in plenty of natural light and give the store a distinctive charm.

The store will also exclusively preview the brand’s first luxury collection – Nest Luxe, an ultimate show stopper range of decor elements. Nest Luxe draws on Roman victories, triumphs and honors, with laurel wreaths, trophy-like candle stands, sculptures, crystals and glass globes that add sparkle and sophistication to a new age home. The pieces are relatively large, creating a sense of grandeur and influence as the focal element in a room. The impressive range has been created using materials such as marble, glass, crystal and metal, effortlessly blending a metallic color palette and Art Deco style, designed to find its way into the contemporary home.

“We are thrilled to open our first physical store in Kolkata. The new store will better serve our customers and provide them with an immersive shopping experience that is both delightful and memorable. Kolkata is where our offices, fulfillment and manufacturing. centers are based, so starting here was a natural choice for us. Specializing every aspect of our customer’s shopping journey is important to us and we hope to delight customers by introducing this new touchpoint. We are also excited to launch our first luxury collection – Nest Luxe, which is our brand of quality, Reflecting a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. With this collection, we hope to offer our customers an enhanced shopping experience and the opportunity to own exquisite items that will become treasures in their homes,” said Aditi Murarka, Co-Founder, Nestasia.

“My favorite aspect of designing this space was the facade on Kolkata’s iconic Russell Street and its unique location. It was created to showcase a bas relief concept of accentuating shapes and forms on a 2D plane, which then creates a 3D look,” said Ashni Kumar, the designer behind Nestasia’s physical store.

With a strong expansion plan, Nestasia hopes to become a household name in the home decor and lifestyle space. Nastasia’s decision to go offline comes from a goal to build trust, legitimacy and brand love. The launch of the store is part of the company’s omnichannel strategy aimed at enabling customers to shop and experience the brand wherever they want. They have also integrated digital store aspects to enhance the in-store experience. With the addition of offline stores, the brand will be better equipped to understand and quickly adapt to evolving customer needs. The aim is to have a strong foothold in the brick and mortar segment with 40 stores nationwide by mid-2024. The first phase of this expansion will see the opening of three more stores in Delhi NCR, followed by three stores in major cities in South and West India such as Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
